Why We Created Paper and Peel

Paper & Peel didn’t start with a business plan or a big launch idea.

It started quietly, from time spent with paper goods and stickers—things often small in size, but deeply present in everyday life.

Notes tucked between pages. Stickers marking moments, moods, or small reminders. Paper that slowly fills with plans, lists, and thoughts. Over time, these things stopped feeling like “just stationery.” They became part of daily routines, creative habits, and personal systems.

But finding products that truly fit into that everyday rhythm wasn’t always easy.

Some items were beautifully designed but difficult to access—especially for independent creators who didn’t have the space or resources to sell on their own. Others were easy to find, yet didn’t always feel made with real use in mind.

Paper & Peel was created in that space between use and intention.

A place where paper goods and stickers are chosen with care. Not only for how they look, but for how they are used—how paper feels when written on, how stickers interact with pages, and how small details support daily habits rather than overwhelm them.

At the same time, Paper & Peel is about people.

Behind every product is a creator who spends time refining ideas, testing materials, and shaping their work with intention. Yet reaching a wider audience—especially beyond Indonesia—can be challenging. Managing a store, logistics, and international exposure often requires more than just good design.

Through consignment, Paper & Peel shares that responsibility.

By offering a curated space and handling the retail side, we help independent creators bring their paper goods and stickers to a broader audience—connecting local work with customers both within Indonesia and internationally.

Rather than offering everything, we choose slowly. Each item is considered for how it fits into everyday use and how it contributes to the overall experience of the store. The goal is not to overwhelm, but to create a calm, intentional space where products can be appreciated and used meaningfully.

This store is growing at its own pace.

There is no rush to expand quickly or carry more than we can thoughtfully manage. What matters is building something steady—something that respects the work behind each product and the people who use them.
